New garage doors
Insulated steel, wood-grain, full-view aluminum and Artisan custom wood — measured to your opening and quoted installed, with the old door hauled away.
What we install
Every door is ordered to the opening. We measure first and quote the installed number, not a shelf price plus extras.
Insulated steel
Get a quote →The workhorse. Two-layer and three-layer construction, a range of panel styles, and the best value per year of service on most homes.
Wood-grain steel
Get a quote →Steel doors with a printed and textured wood finish — the carriage-house look without the maintenance a real wood door needs.
Full-view aluminum
Get a quote →Anodized or powder-coated aluminum frames with glass panels. Popular on detached garages, shops and anywhere you want the light.
Artisan custom wood
Get a quote →Built to size in Mahogany, Accoya, Cedar or Pine. For historic homes and new builds where the door is part of the architecture.

Insulation is not
about the garage
R-value gets sold as a way to heat the garage, which is rarely why it matters. On an attached garage the door is the largest uninsulated surface next to your living space, and on a garage under a bedroom it is the reason that room never gets comfortable.
An insulated door is also stiffer, quieter and holds its shape longer than a single-skin door of the same size. On a double-wide opening that structural difference shows up within a few years.
We are an authorized dealer for Clopay, General Doors, Artisan Custom Doorworks and LiftMaster — which matters years later when a single section needs matching.

Common questions
How long does a new garage door installation take?
A standard single or double door replacement is a same-day job, usually four to six hours including haul-away of the old door. Custom wood and full-view aluminum are built to size, so allow manufacturer lead time before the install date.
Can I keep my existing opener with a new door?
Often yes, if the opener is in good condition and rated for the weight of the new door. An insulated door is heavier than a single-skin door, so we check the opener horsepower and the spring balance before reusing it.
Do you haul away the old door?
Yes, removal and disposal of the old door and track is included in the installed price.
What is the difference between a wood-grain steel door and a real wood door?
Wood-grain steel is a printed and embossed finish over steel — it holds up to weather with no refinishing. A real wood door from Artisan is built from Mahogany, Accoya, Cedar or Pine and needs periodic finishing, but nothing else looks like it.
